MARC FIELD DAY 1999

Bonita Lakes Mall / June 26 - 27

Field Day Site 1999

Below: There were a total of 8 - 10 folks that helped with the antenna. The tower was 30 ft. and the mast pole was another 10 making for a total of 40 ft. It took about an hour to assemble and get it up. The beam was constructed off site and delivered in two pieces on a trailer provided by WB5OCD. Jim said that the tower was not really that hard to put up but will not likely do it this way again. It was actually harder to take down. Folks were tired and there were fewer of us. KB5ASR and his little red truck were instrumental in getting it down without destroying it. The pictures below will give you an idea of how the operation was accomplished.
