Mr. Michael Everett "J. R." Harbour / N5VWS

Services for Michael Everett Harbour were held Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 2 p.m., in the Stephens Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Roy Dabbs and Rev. Jimmy Gerrard are officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Bonita.

Mr. Harbour, 55, of Meridian, passed away at his residence Thursday, November 24.

Mr. Harbour was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was employed by Wackenhut as a Correctional Officer.

He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church and an active member of the Meridian Amateur Radio Club. He enjoyed working with computers and was a amateur radio (ham) operator.

He is survived by his wife, Trisha Hollingsworth Harbour, sisters, Diane Harbour of Arkansas and Lisa Graham of Indiana. He is also survived by his brothers, Johnny Powell and Gary Powell, both of Alabama.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Edith Harbour and a nephew, Charles Partridge.

Pallbearers will be James Jumper, David Smith, Gary Gardner and members of the Meridian Amateur Radio Club.

Visitation will be Saturday from noon until 2 p. m.
