Romans 10:8-13
But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the message concerning faith that we proclaim: If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.
For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, for “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. President's Report
Hello all,
Well we made it through August and had some fun doing it. The Simulated Emergency Test that was conducted statewide was a success and also showed some places for improvement. Hundreds of messages were sent to WB5AKR who was acting as MEMA EOC during the event. Also Fred WB5BNV and myself KB5SZJ had several messages come into our stations during the event. If you would like to be more proactive and help support EmComm actions when needed please drop a line to me or join one of your local area groups.
It looks as if we may get to hold our meeting this month at the Western Sizzlin on Frontage Road. Please come join us for lunch and fellowship. This being on short notice but it will also be our business meeting as well. Details to follow later in the newsletter.
