Meridian Amateur Radio Club (MARC) owns the W5FQ repeater and operates on 146.700 MHz with a 100 Hz PL Tone. An ARES 2-meter net is held every Tuesday evening at 7PM or 8PM depending on the time of year. All amateur radio operators are invited to participate.

MARC members get together at The Checker Board Restaurant located at 2223 South Frontage Road for breakfast and coffee on Saturday mornings from (approximately) 9:30AM - 11:30AM.

Due to the Black Warrior Ham fest on the 1st Saturday, our business meeting has been moved to the second Saturday in May. The next business meeting will be held at the Checker Board Restaurant on Saturday, May 11th beginning at 10 A.M. Come join us for breakfast, coffee and fellowship.

There is a Newton County Repeater net on Monday's at 6:30pm. 147.240(+)(pl 103.5Hz)

Neshoba Amateur Radio Club 2M net is held every Sunday night at 2100 local time on 147.330 +, no tone. Trustee is N5EPP, Gary Keen.
