Field Day 2015

The next business meeting will be held at the Magnolia Restaurant located in the Queen City Truck Stop on Saturday, February 6th, 2016 beginning at 4 P.M.

We will still have coffee at The Checker Board on Saturday morning. Come join us for breakfast, coffee and fellowship.

Meridian Amateur Radio Club (MARC) owns the W5FQ repeater and operates on 146.700 MHz with a 100 Hz PL Tone. An ARES 2-meter net is held every Tuesday evening at 7PM or 8PM depending on the time of year. All amateur radio operators are invited to participate.



Katrina 10th Anniversary Special Memorial Event for Amateur Radio Operators Worldwide. August 26 through September 2nd. A memorial for the 235+ that did not survive Katrina’s fury on the Mississippi Gulf Coast and points north.

Meridian W5YI Volunteer Exams

Test dates are the 2nd Tuesday of each month except Aug. Test start at 7:00 PM at the Meridian Aviation building at Meridian Airport. Meridian Aviation building is the large building BEFORE getting to the airport main terminal. If coming from I-20/I-59 it will be on the right side of the road. Cost of the test is $14.00
